Larry Fidel, President of the Alabama Restaurant and Hospitality Alliance, explained why it is important to recognize bartending talent along Alabama’s Gulf Coast and across the state.
“The bar is a critical part of the success of any full-service restaurant that serves alcohol,” Fidel added. “Good bartenders can enhance the diners’ experience with their showmanship and expertise. Having regional competitions can not only provide marketing exposure to the regions, but showcase the bartending talent in their area.”
