| The Wharf Boat and Yacht Show adds Bama Coast Cruise car show to 2013 lineup |
![]() March 13, 2013, Orange Beach, Ala. (OBA)- The Wharf Boat and Yacht Show have announced the addition of the Bama Coast Cruise car show to their schedule of events this year. It’s a sweeping move that will add an exciting new automotive component to the Boat and Yacht Show. In addition to the car show, the Bama Coast Cruise will feature a swap meet, vendors, awards for the top 25 cars on display, a parade of classic autos and a poker run for the participants. Hundreds of cars, from vintage hotrods to classic muscle cars and modern speedsters, will be on display along Main Street at The Wharf Entertainment Complex in Orange Beach April 25-28, 2013. The Wharf Boat and Yacht Show will showcase hundreds of trailerable boats on the marina lawn and other 110-plus in-water displays at The Wharf Marina. A recent addition is BridgeWalk, which will be the center of activity for this year’s show. BridgeWalk will host the event’s main stage with live music, fishing seminars, kid’s art clinics and a fashion show presented by Lucca Clothing Boutique in addition to various options for drinking and dining. The Yacht Center Pavilion, centrally located at BridgeWalk, offers a higher-end experience with a climate-controlled tent facility showcasing the industry’s finest in marine propulsion, electronics and fishing equipment. The Wharf Boat and Yacht Show kicks off Thursday, April 25th with “Stars Over Alabama,” a one of a kind, invitation-only show preview that’s open from 2 p.m. until sunset. This is one red-carpet preview that’s not to be missed.
