January 3, 2013 – Orange Beach, Ala. (OBA) –The City of Orange Beach - Relay for Life Team is once again getting ready for their annual ‘Big’ Yard & Craft Sale. This will be the 10th year for the team to host the sale where shoppers find great bargains from over 25 different vendors.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, January 19th at the Orange Beach Community Center, located at 27235 Canal Road. Doors open promptly at 7 a.m. and the event runs until noon.

All vendor spaces are inside so it doesn’t matter what the weather in doing outside.

Jeanne Fitzgibbons, Event Coordinator, noted “It’s always amazing how much our vendors bring to the sale. Shoppers are never disappointed with the variety. Folks are typically lined up at the door when we open and the first hour or so is absolutely crazy with great deals flying off the tables. If you like yard sales, this is one you don’t want to miss!”

Proceeds from the ‘Big’ Yard & Craft Sale are directly donated to the American Cancer Society on behalf of the Relay for Life campaign. Spaces are rented to individual sellers, insuring that a wide variety of items are available for sell (at press time a few spaces were still available). Sausage biscuits & gravy and coffee are also sold.

Seeking Donations! - You can be a part of the event by donating items to sell. Deliver items to the Orange Beach Community Center on Friday, Jan. 19 from 10 a.m.–6 p.m. Please, no adult clothing items or shoes. Donation receipts will be given for all items.
