February 1, 2010 - Orange Beach, AL (OBA) -The Library is pleased to host author Bob Buckley on Wednesday, Feb. 8th at 3 p.m. in the meeting room.

Many of you know Bob from his previous library programs featuring Geocaching, but this event will introduce you to his skills as an author.

Bob will discuss his new historical novel, "The Slave Tag," as well as the new landscape of publishing from an author's perspective. The book features two intertwined plots, the first describes a violent encounter between a young black tugboat-hand and three white youths in 1940 Tennessee.

The second story follows two college students as they unravel the mystery surrounding a camera found at an auction in Ohio in 2000. Copies of Mr. Buckley’s book are available for electronic download on Amazon.
