| Theatre West brings "A Tuna Christmas" to Pensacola |
November 26, 2011 -- Pensacola, FL (OBA) – It is Christmas time in Tuna… Texas, that is! Tuna is the third smallest town in Texas, where the Lion’s Club is too liberal and Patsy Cline never dies. With only 24 hours before Christmas, all comic hell is about to break loose as Theatre West presents “A Tuna Christmas”. This mad-cap comedy consists of two actors and twenty-four hilarious characters. The show has some of the quickest costume changes, biggest hair-do’s (and hair don’ts) known to man and is guaranteed to put a jingle in your sleigh! While the Gulf Coast may be known for its fish stories, “A Tuna Christmas” is sure to be the funniest “fish tale” of the Holiday season!. Audience members will witness the delightful and eccentric citizens of Tuna as they attempt to cope with seasonal traumas, such as a disaster-prone little theatre production of “A Christmas Carol” and the 15th annual lawn display contest that is being sabotaged by a mysterious Christmas phantom.Bring the whole family and spend the holidays with all of your favorite citizens of Tuna. “A Tuna Christmas” is scheduled by Theatre West for six shows, Dec. 9-11 and 16-18. Friday and Saturday performances are at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday matinees are at 2 p.m. Theatre West has limited seating so patrons are strongly encouraged to reserve tickets in advance. All seats are $15 general admission and tickets may be reserved by calling the theatre box office at 850-912-4087 or by emailing reservations@sanctuarytheatrewest.com. Theatre West is located in West Pensacola at 9732 Sidney Road, Pensacola, FL 32507, just off South Blue Angel Parkway. "A Tuna Christmas” is a hilarious evening of holiday fun and is written by Jaston Williams, Joe Sears and Ed Howard and is the Sequel to the smash hit comedy “Greater Tuna.” |
