GULF SHORES, Alabama — The city has filed for a rehearing of the Alabama Supreme Court’s ruling to void the city’s annexation of 19 miles along Ala. 180 on Fort Morgan peninsula.
The city will continue to provide municipal services and enforce its ordinances in the area, as it has since 2003, as it awaits a final outcome, according to Mayor Robert Craft.
