Gulf Shores, Alabama – Former Alabama basketball coach and now televison basketball analyst Mark Gottfried hosted a celebrity golf tournament in Orange Beach and Gulf Shores this week. 25 national sports celebrities turned out for the event that was put together to help raise funds for South Baldwin youth sports teams that have been hurt by the oil spill. Among the list of celebrities, Charles Barkley, Corneilus Bennett, Cliff Ellis, Gene Bartow, Bobby Humphry, Derrick McKey, Jon Barry, Jim Harrick and C.M. Newton. The golf tournament was held at the Peninsula in Gulf Shores.
