How does the Orange Beach Vacation Rental Search Engine work? We created a custom search engine for vacation rentals in
Orange Beach using the Google Search
Engine Technology. This custom search engine only searches for websites and webpages
that we build-in to
the code. When a visitor to The Orange Beach
Community Website searches for vacation rental properties, only properties
listed with the service will show in the search results.
My property is not in Orange Beach, can I list it on this
service?
Sorry, but no. This service is specifically for vacation rental
properties located in Orange Beach.
Is this service worth the subscription investment? If you received only one rental in 3 years as a result of being
a subscriber to this service, it would more
than pay for itself. Based on the success that The Orange Beach
Community Website has experienced to date,
being the
highest ranked website in Orange Beach, we fully expect
that Vacation Property Owners who subscribe to this service will receive many more
rentals as a direct result of being listed in The Orange Beach Vacation
Rental Search Engine.
Will all rental property websites and webpages work with this service?
The short answer is no... many will, but not all. We
will be happy to check your website or webpage to see if it is indexed
by Google prior to you subscribing. If you would like for us to check
your website, or webpage, please email the link to
Services@OrangeBeach.ws, or call us at 251.981.4455.
We will quickly let you know if your property can be found by Google.
(This is a free service.)
If your website or webpage cannot be found by Google, you are losing
a lot of renters and you have four options:
1) You can list your property with an online service that is capable of
being found by Google.
2) We can refer you to a local consultant that can help you get your
website or webpage indexed by Google.
3) We will
build a webpage for your property that Google will find. *See
additional info below.
4) Or, if you have already subscribed to this service, and we are unable
to get your property found by the Google Search Engine, we will issue
you a full refund of your subscription.
*The fee for us to build a Google friendly
page for your property is a one-time set-up fee of $100, plus an
additional $50 per year for hosting the page on The Orange Beach
Community Website.
By subscribing to our service or contacting us prior to subscribing, you
will find out if the website or webpage listing your property is capable
of being found by Google.
My property is handled by a management company.
Is this service
something that would benefit me?
Absolutely! If you only get you one additional rental in three years, it
will more than pay for itself.
Please note that
most of the local management companies' property listing webpages are not capable of
being found by search engines. (Their websites may be findable,
but the individual page where your property is listed may not be.) If this is the case with your
management company, you would need to subscribe to a service that can
get your specific page found by Google, or we could build a search engine
friendly page for your property that
would be hosted on The Orange Beach Community Website. This page would
direct potential renters to call your management company and request
your property.
Do all of the vacation properties currently in the search results
subscribe to this service?
No. For now, we have included
at least one unsubscribed property in each building so that the Vacation
Property Search is fully functional. When we have
a subscriber in a condo building, we will
delete the free listing from the search results.
So, the sooner you subscribe, the less competition you have for the
potential renters using The Orange Beach Vacation Rentals Search Engine,
and the quicker your investment will payoff!
