Foley cop cleared in Warrington shooting | pnj.com | Pensacola News Journal: "An off-duty Foley, Ala., police officer who shot a Century man outside a Warrington bar won't be charged."

Officer Maurice Wiley acted in self-defense on Dec. 27 when he shot Johnny Cloud outside Boomerzzz Lounge on New Warrington Road, Assistant State Attorney David Rimmer said in a report release Thursday. Cloud died on Jan. 18 at Baptist Hospital from complications of the shot to the abdomen.

"It's my opinion that Mr. Wiley was justified in shooting Mr. Cloud," Rimmer wrote.
