June 7, 2009 - Orange Beach, AL (OBA) - Anglers fishing on Saturday,
June 6th saw great marine conditions with seas less than 1 foot. Later
in the afternoon the west wind picked up a little, but seas never
got above a light chop.
As a result of the great conditions anglers brought a lot of fish in to the
docks including;
Red, White & Vermilion Snapper, Amberjack, Triggerfish, Grouper, King &
Spanish Mackerel, and others.
Capt.
George Pfeiffer, on his new boat the Emerald Spirit, brought a 74.9
pound Wahoo into the docks at Outcast Marina Saturday evening.
Sunday's marine conditions are expected to be just as good as Saturday,
with clear skies and the strongest winds predicted at 12 mph out of the
southwest around 4pm.
