On September 16,
2006 Angler Del Sawyer landed this 448 pound swordfish after a three hour and
forty-five minute fight. Captains Randy (Goat Roper) Howland and Robby
Griffiths, of the Sea Reaper III, have been fishing the waters of the Gulf of Mexico
all their lives and are experts on bluewater fishing. The six-minute
video below shows the Sea Reaper III Fishing Team bringing their trophy
swordfish to the dock for the weigh-in.
