Below are pictures from the event. We are sorry we didn't get everyone's name to
include on this picture page; however, if your picture or the picture of someone
you know is on the page, you can email us at

add it to the photo labels.
We
are very fortunate to live in an area that has an abundance of musical talent. Smokey
Otis is no exception. Smokey masterfully entertained the Flora-Bama crowd at the
13th Annual Super Chili Bowl Cook-off. If you would like to catch one of
Smokey's shows, you can find his schedule at
www.SmokeyOtis.com.

The Flora-Bama Bartenders were kept busy, but they didn't seem to mind.

Then their were the
awards...
Pat, Shirley Folmar, and Bob Folmar discuss American Cancer Society Benefit.
People's Choice and First Place Perpetual Trophies
being awarded.
Third Place Winners, Team Naked Joe receiving prize money. Team Naked Joe
donated their prize money to the American Cancer Society, as did all of the
winners. Don't we live in a wonderful place?
Team Kit Carson takes second place.
Rock n' Roll Chili Cooking Team takes 1st Place
Elvis, a member of the winning team, donates winnings to the American Cancer
Society.
And finally, the Peoples Choice Award goes to Lizards Living Large. Why
did the people choose this team...
It may have been their tee-shirts...
Or the way they danced, or it could have the been the hat.
Katie Tyler of Sunny 105.7 FM and Bob Folmar, USMC (with 115 days, 14 hours and
18 minutes to go until his retirement with 30 years of service) served as two of
the judges.
Then there was this...
Finally, everyone was treated to something very special when Smokey Otis (right) allowed Joe
(left) to take the stage and sing a song dedicated to his Mother, who he lost to
cancer. (It was a wonderfully performed, fitting tribute that the crowd loved.)
